Our earth is crying[转载]Introduction Nowadays, with the economic development, several problems are becoming more and more obvious and severe. They are threatening the human being’s living on the earth. People all over the world are confronted with a global crisis, a challenge too. They have never concerned so seriously with the matters except the economic development before and prehistorically coordinate their efforts that much to solve a problem. Population problem The population growth still remains one of the most serious problems of the present world. It is commonly considered on top of all the others, since it is the origin of them. At present, there have been up to sixty billion persons living on the earth. In the poor countries, especially some African countries, child fertility rates are high, though the people’s life expectancy isn’t high. Compared with those countries, in the countries of the developed world, child fertility rates are low, but also the mortality rates are low and life expectancy is high. The society is tending to be an aging society. Some scientists predict there will be only standing room if the population goes on increasing. This explosive growth has induced a series of problems and is threatening mankind’s continuing existence. It has led to removal of forests on the earth, excessive use of natural resources and existing farmland, sufficiency in rice causing extensive starvation and the enormous amounts of pollution. Consequently, the control of the growing world population has become an urgent issue. In response, many countries’ governments have undertaken initiatives to control the birthrate. They may issue the laws about birth control, or encourage birth control offering inducements such as free trips to some places of interest. Environmental problem With the economic development and the population explosion, the environment is aggravating day by day and has become dangerous for people as well as plants and animals in some areas, mainly in the urban areas. The factory waste air and car exhaust, sometimes even poisonous gases, emitted into the atmosphere without being dealt with contaminate the air, which cause the inhabitants hard to breathe. Also, the factories’ excessive use of fuels has brought about acid rain, which can erode the buildings, the plants and people’s skin, and many factories, such as papermaking ones, let their dirty water directly flaw into our rivers and lakes. In addition, farmers use more and more chemicals and pesticides, which severely pollute our fields, rivers, lands and forests are so contaminated that many are now biologically dead. What’s more, there’s another serious problem, called”greenhouse effect”. It’s generated mainly by excessive carbon dioxide. Global warming will cause a rise in sea level that will flood coastal lowlands, an increase in weather extremes, and damage to forests and croplands. How terrible our earth has become! Once human beings did not get friendly along with the nature, now, the nature is getting its revenge on them. Many living things on the earth are stuck in danger. People are appealing to conserve nature, working on saving the earth to make up for their blunders. They are fighting a battle against pollution. In many countries, laws have been passed to prevent factories from sending out poisonous gases and polluting water. Scientists have found ways to take some useful things out of the waste materials and make them clear again. Yet this battle will not be won until everyone realized how serious the danger of pollution is, and does something to stop it. Natural resources problem Population explosive and fast economic development has led to lack of natural resources. Even before several years, the oil demands have been beyond its supplies, and the oil prices have been increasing for a long time, natural gas can offer some relief from insufficient oil supplies, however, it’s not inexhaustible and in time will run out. Coal is an abundant domestic source of energy, but the use of coal causes increased pollution. Wood is another source of energy, but it’s costly and the cutting of large forests areas also causes environment problems, such as much slides and erosion. The sun, from which nearly all energy devives, is a solution to the energy crisis. Solar power is growing rapidly in popularity. All other fuels will run out after a period of years, but the sun’s power is infinite and free from pollution. However, it is still impractical and very expensive, and therefore not widely available. In response to this situation, one immediate and practical solution to the problem is conservation. The environmentalists are waging a massive ad campaign about making best of resources. We can no longer thoughtlessly use the limited resources provided by nature. We must learn to conserve what remains, or we will destroy ourselves. 2006年 三十儿 和我的宝在家附近的网吧。

恩，爱情仍旧进行着，又升华成了世间最珍贵的亲情。
还在国内，这个月24号又要飞回去了。有点不舍，我可爱的妹妹。
